सर्वोच्च अदालतले फैसला कार्यान्वयन शाखा, गृह मन्त्रालय र ललितपुर जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालयको पत्रलाई ‘यथास्थिति’ मा राखी छलफल गर्न अन्तरिम आदेश जारी गरेसँगै नेपाल ओलम्पिक कमिटिको अवरोध हटेको अध्यक्ष जीवनराम श्रेष्ठले दाबी गरेका छन् ।

मान्यताप्राप्त ओलम्पिक कमिटी भएको दाबी गर्दै त्यही पत्रका आधारमा रुक्मशम्शेर राणाको नेतृत्व सातदोबाटोस्थित ओलम्पिक भवन प्रवेश गरेको थियो । त्यसयता श्रेष्ठ समूह कार्यालयविहीन भएको हो । त्यो कार्य अवैधानिक भन्दै श्रेष्ठले दिएको रिटमाथि अन्तरिम आदेश जारी गर्दै सर्वोच्च
अदालतले आइतबार दुवै पक्षलाई जेठ १४ मा छलफलका लागि बोलाएर उक्त पत्रलाई यथास्थितिमा राख्नू भनेको थियो ।

‘गैरकानुनी रूपमा रुक्मशम्शेरको समूहले भवन कब्जा गरेको छ, त्यसको पत्र नै निस्क्रिय भएको छ । यसले विवादलाई एक तहमा अन्त्य गरेको छ । अब अवरोध खुलाइदिने जिम्मेवारी सम्बन्धित कार्यालयको हो,’ सोमबार आयोजित पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा अन्तर्रा्ष्ट्रिय मान्यताप्राप्त ओलम्पिक कमिटीका अध्यक्ष श्रेष्ठले भने ।

महिला भलिबल तेस्रो साता

Marwadi Super 8's starts today

Devibas Events and Media Pvt Ltd is sorting out the Marwadi Super 8's cricket competition at the Tribhuvan University Stadium from Wednesday.

The alliance cum-thump out competition will include eight groups who are isolated into two pools with the main two sides making it to the semi-finals. Sajangoth Champs, Riders, Hamrokitchen.com and I.Store Warriors are hollowed in Group 'A'. Amass "B" comprises of Tip Top, Fighters, KBH Nepal and Kochar Rangers.

The Super 8's cricket has its own guidelines and controls with each side comprising of eight players contending in a seven-over challenge. Each hit over the fence will get eight runs and every additional will give away two runs. Super 8's is the second competition from Devibas having beforehand sorted out Open Super 8's Twenty20 a month prior.

The competition will just observe the cooperation of players from the Marwadi people group. Tip Top are supporting the three-day competition. Tip Top delegate Bikash Sharma said it came as their obligation to contribute in creating cricketers from the Marwadi people group.

"We had already given budgetary help with four unique versions of the Marwadi Premier League and its better in the event that we continue proceeding with it. A considerable measure of abilities have come up to hit the national cricket scene and this is the way our commitment has worked," said Sharma.

Wednesday and Thursday will see the consummation of association stage matches with every day facilitating six matches. The semi-finals and last will be hung on Saturday. Khukuri Ent are the partners of the competition.

National women’s football team head coach Kumar Thapa on Tuesday made just one change to the squad that took part in the Saff Championship for the two friendly matches against Malaysia.

Barring midfielder Dipa Adhikari of Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC), Nepal will field the same 20-member team that crashed out in the Saff Women’s Championship semi-finals in December-January in Silliguri, India. Adhikari has been replaced by Sajana Rana of Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club for the friendlies against hosts Malaysia at the Stadium Likas in Kota Kinabalu on May 22 and 24.

The Army forward has been excluded from the team due to administrative reasons from Nepal Army (NA). “She was not available despite corresponding with the NA,” said coach Kumar Thapa. “I came to know that she has not turned up for her team after returning from Saff.”  

The inclusion of Rana meant Nepali will have six options upfront including Sabitra Bhandari—the highest goal scorer with 12 in the Saff Championship—Nirmala BK, Krishna Khatri and Sharmila Thapa. Namita Kumari Dali, Anjila Tumbapo Subba and Anjana Rana Magar are three goalkeepers in the team.

Gita Rana, Punam Jargha Magar, Hira Kumari Bhujel, Anchali Waiwa, Manmaya Limbu and Kabita Dhimal are the defenders. Midfielders Sapana Lama, Anita Basnet, Renuka Nagarkote, Dipa Rai and Manjali Kumari Yonjan complete the Nepali lineup.

Thapa said the tournament will be crucial to keep his team in shape. “Besides, playing abroad and particularly outside the South Asian country will motivate the players,” he said.

Thapa, who claimed to have instilled new system since his appointment as coach just before the Saff Championship, said that the tournament was also an opportunity for him to check if the system was well adopted. “The team is playing together after five months (Saff) and the matches will be a reality check,” he said.

Thapa said he had asked All Nepal Football Association to arrange at least a friendly after three months, but Malaysia invited them as part of their preparation for South East Asian Games in August. “We had defeated them 1-0 in a friendly in December last year. So maybe they have invited us considering us a strong opponent.”

Nepal secured second place finish in the first to third editions of biennial Saff Championship going down to India in the finals. But Nepal crashed out from semi-final of the last (2016) event again facing defeat at the hands of India.

Nepali weightlifting set to stage biggest tournament till date

The tournament, officially sanctioned by Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF), will feature events in youth and junior sections in both men’s and women’s categories, NWA said on Thursday.  “The championships is the biggest and prestigious event to be organized by Nepal,” said Ratan Kumar Tandon, the NWA President. “The annual general assembly of AWF in 2016 accepted our proposal and awarded us the right to host 19th Youth, 24th junior women’s and 31st Junior Men’s Asian Weightlifting Championships.” The youth section will see lifters aged 13-17 and junior will include lifter from 15 to 20 years of age. 

According to Parth Sarathi Sen Gupta, the general secretary of NWA, the organisers were expecting participation from 28 countries with 16 already giving confirmation. “Our motive is to organise at least one international championship each year in future and successful hosting of this event will open the door for us to stage bigger competitions including Youth World Championship.” 

The weightlifters will vie for a total of 96 gold medals—48 each in men’s and women’s categories. All four categories will have eight weight categories. Women’s youth category will have weight division of 44kg, 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 75kg and above 75kg. Women’s junior will have 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 75kg, 90kg and above 90kg weight categories. The men’s youth category will have 50kg, 56kg, 62kg, 69kg, 77kg, 85kg, 94kg and above 94kg divisions while men’s junior will have 56kg, 62kg, 69kg, 77kg, 85kg, 94kg, 105kg and above 105kg weight divisions. 

Terming Asia as a global powerhouse of weightlifting, Gupta said that high profile players from Asia would compete in the event and there were chances of new youth and Asian level records in the tournament. Tandon recalled that Nepal was earlier set to host Asian Senior Men’s and Women’s Championships from July 22 to 30 in 2015. But the event was cancelled due to April 25 earthquake. “We had received weightlifting equipments worth $66,000 in 2015 from ZKC Company of China, AWF and International Weightlifting Federation as grant. This time we got gears worth $ 36,000 from AWF and International Weightlifting Federation (IWF),” added Tandon. 

The expected cost of the event is Rs 17.59 million. NWA is expecting to raise 15 percent of the budget from players’ registration fees and 15 percent each from AWF and IWF grants. The organisers are planning to raise an additional 30 percent amount from sponsors and advertisements apart from another 25 percent as grant from the National Sports Council.

Hosts face lifter crunch

Owing to the crunch of youth and age-group lifters, Nepal will not participate in all weight divisions in the Asian Weightlifting Championships for youth and junior players.

Any team can field up tot eight players in all eight weight categories. However, Nepal will not be able to take advantage as the hosts due to the crunch. “

We have about 12 youth and junior players and will finalise the numbers in due course,” said Sunil Lal Joshi, the chief coach NWA vice president.

NWA General Secretary Gupta said that the tournament was just the beginning of junior and youth events in Nepal.

“There is trend of getting into weightlifting only after 20 years of age in the country. We may therefore not compete in all 32 weight divisions. The event will change the concept of getting into the game after 20,” Gupta said
.

Attariya Cup Women’s Cricket

Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club and Rising Cricket Women (RCW) set the title clash of the Attariya Cup Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament on Monday. 

APF hammered Kailali District Cricket Academy (KDCA) by 82 runs riding on a solid batting performance, while RCW edged Milan Cricket Club of Jhapa by nine runs. The final match will be played on Wednesday.

Electing to bat first, APF rode on gritty knocks from opener Jyoti Pandey and Karun Bhandari to reach 150-5 in 20 overs. KDCA, in reply, were shut out for just 68 

runs in 19.2 overs after losing their last five wickets for nine runs.

KDCA never looked comfortable in their chase as opener Nitu Bhandari was the only batswoman to make runs in double figures with a 22-ball 17 that included only one boundary. Kabita Kunwar (eight) and Shova Rokaya (seven) were their other top scorers. Skipper Binu Budhamagar was the pick of the APF bowlers with 3-5 from 1.2 overs, while Sarita Magar and Sita Rana Magar had two scalps apiece.

Earlier, APF’s top order collection was built around Pandey, who scored 40 from 44 balls with seven hits to the fence. After the departure of Pandey in the 13th over, Bhandari displayed some power hitting, scoring 29-ball 42 with six fours and a six. 

Player-of-the-match Budhamagar chipped 21 from 15 balls with three fours, while Mamata Chaudhary scored 15 not out from 13 balls. Kabita Kunwar took 3-23 from four overs for the losing side. 

In another semi-final, RCW rode on an allround performance from their experienced Indian recruit Pooja Nimavat. She led RCW to 119-3 after they were put in to bat first. The Indian cricketer then returned with the ball to take 4-22 from four overs as Milan were all out for 110 in 20 overs. 

Milan lost opener Kajol Shrestha (10) early in their chase but skipper Rubina Chhetri led a remarkable fightback with the bat, putting on 62 for the second wicket with Ritu Jain to take the team close to finishing line. However, RCW skipper Aarati Bidari removed both the set players in consecutive deliveries in the 13th over as Milan innings began to crumble. 

No 6 batswoman Muskan Begam (15) was the only remaining Milan batswoman to score runs of note, while Chhetri top scored with a 41-ball 39 with four boundaries and a six. Jain score 21 from 35 balls with two fours. Apart from Nimavat, Nary Thapa also picked up three wickets for RCW. 

Nimavat had given RCW an excellent start as she and Shahnabaz Parveen began with a 33-run partnership for the first wicket. RCW then lost Parveen for 17 and Thapa (one) in a space of eight runs before Nimavat and Bangladeshi Shampa Mukharjee consolidated their innings with 72 runs for the third wicket. Nimavat made 47 from 55 balls with three fours and Mukharjee scored 42 not out from 35 balls with six boundaries.

Attariya Cup Women’s Twenty20: RCW, Milan sail into semis

Rising Cricket Women (RCW) of Kathmandu and Milan Cricket Club of Jhapa entered the semi-finals of the Attariya Cup Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament on Saturday.

Bangladeshi cricketers Shahanaz Parveen and Shampa Mukherjee slammed aggressive half centuries as RCW crushed Bara Cricket Club by 130 runs to go through as Group ‘B’ winners. Milan, led by national women’s team skipper Rubina Chhetri, saw off Kanchanpur by 27 runs in their last Group ‘A’ match to follow pool winners Nepal APF Club in the last four.

The day belonged to Parveen who missed out a century by just two runs remaining not out for 98 as she helped RCW amass a mammoth 203-3 in 20 overs. Bara, in reply, were restricted to 73-9 after Shanti Khatiwada picked up 3-9 from four overs. Player-of-the-match Parveen’s whirlwind 61-ball knock included 16 boundaries. 

Parveen shared 37 runs for the second wicket with Barsha Rana Magar before getting involved in a 103-run stand with Mukherjee who was out for a 29-ball 48 hitting seven fours and a six. 

Parveen then added another 59 runs for the fourth wicket with former Nepal skipper Nary Thapa Magar as RCW piled up a winning total. Thapa Magar made 28 off 12 balls with five hits to the fence. Rabina Bisunkhe and Saman Pun took a wicket each for the losing side. 

With a mountain to climb, Bara never looked comfortable in their chase losing wickets at regular intervals. Opener Geeta Gosai was the lone fighter for them making 37 runs from 59 balls with four boundaries. Bara’s next best score was 16 which came from extras. Apart from Khatiwada, Ashmina Karmacharya, Thapa Magar and Nimavat also picked up a wicket each. 

Milan needed a victory to reach semi-finals and a gritty 47 not out from Vaincy Chaudhary guided them to 146-6 in 20 overs. Kanchanpur, knocked out after the defeat, could only muster 119-6 with Kabita Joshi’s half century going in vain. 

Joshi gave Kanchanpur a 38-run stand for the first wicket with Rekha Rawal (11) but the middle order failed to cash in on the start. Dismissed in the 19th over as the last Kanchanpur wicket, Joshi made 52 from 57 balls with eight hits to the fence. Bindu Rawal (11 not out) was their next best scorer. 

Earlier, Milan didn’t have the best of the start losing their first four wickets for just 39 runs inside seven overs. Chaudhary then added a match-winning 53 runs for the fifth wicket with Ritu Jain that helped them get into a strong total. 

Jain made 28 from 31 balls with four boundaries, while Chaudhary hit seven fours in her 33-ball 47 not out. Muskan Begam chipped in a 21-ball 18 with three fours. Dolly Bhatt picked up three wickets for Kanchanpur and Manju Bist also had two scalps. Jain, who also took a wicket, was adjudged player-of-the-match.

Attariya Cup: RCW, APF triumph

Rising Cricket Womens (RCW) and Nepal Armed  Police Force (APF) Club recorded wins in the Attariya Cup  Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament on Thursday.The RCW defeated Kailali District Cricket Association by 17 runs while APF hammered Kanchanpur XI by eight wickets. In the first match of the day, RCW posted 137-6 in their  allotted 20 overs before restricting Kailali for 120-8. Top order RCW batswomen Pooja Nimayat, Shahnaz Parbin and Laxmi Chaudhary all chipped before Aarati Bidari finished their  innings with an unbeaten 22 off 20 balls. While Pabin  and Chaudhary scored 20 runs each, Nimayat hit  19 with four hits to the fence in her 11-ball cameo. Chandani Shah took two, while Suman Bista, Anjali Chand and Laxmi Saud claimed one wicket each for Kailali.Kailali openers Nitu Bhandari and Manju Bokati gave a  desired start to their run chase with a 48-run stand. But  their dismissal meant only No 3 batswoman Kabita Kunwar could manage to score in double figure as Kailali fail  short of their target. Bhandari made 35 off 38 balls with five boundaries, while Bokati scored 20. Achmina Karmacharya grabbed three and player-of-the-match Nimayat  took two wickets for RCW.In another match, Kanchanpur were dismissed for an embarrassing 35 runs in 12.3 overs with player-of-the-match Sita Rana Magar, Sarita Magar and Binu Budamagar taking  two wickets each. The departmental team completed the chase for the loss of  two wickets in just five overs. Jyoti Pandey scored 12 for APF. Dolly Bhatt took both the APF wicket to fall.The six-team tournament is the highest cash prize event so far in the history of Nepali women’s cricket with the champions earning Rs 200,000. Runners-up will take home Rs 100,000. The best player will earn Rs 25,000, while the best batswoman, bowler and wicketkeeper will get Rs 10,000  apiece. Top two teams qualify for the semi-finals.

Advisory Group seeks help

• Cricket’s constitutional reform and reinstatement process

After the suspension of CAN on April 25 last year citing disputed election and government interference, the ICC had formed an Advisory Group in September to transform CAN into a board. However, after the inclusion of Chatur Bahadur Chand-led committee, which claims itself as an elected body, the Group began the reformation process with the amendment of current statute of the cricket governing body. 

Chand and general secretary of his committee Ashok Nath Pyakurel had joined the Group making it a seven-member one. Businessman Basant Chaudhary and former CAN President Binay Raj Pandey are the joint coordinators of the Group with former national team skipper Pawan Agrawal holding the secretary post. 

During an interaction programme organised by the Cricket Players Association of Nepal (CPAN), Chaudhary said the Group has almost finalised the draft but personal interest of some stakeholders might prevent from it to implement.

“Just by handing over the draft to the ICC doesn’t mean that it has been implemented. The constitutional reform through the draft could only be done by the country’s  laws. If personal interest dominates in this process, we are afraid that the reform process could not be completed,” said Chaudhary. 

“We want the government to help us in this regard. We only have one month left and if this constitutional reformation is not done, we might have to face difficult circumstances. Those individuals who claim themselves as the major stakeholders of Nepali cricket have to be held accountable if Nepali cricket faces expulsion,” added Chaudhary. 

According to Chaudhary, the Chand-led committee is demanding the amendment of CAN statute be passed through the general assembly of its committee. “We wonder how a general assembly will vote in passing an amendment that has gone against their demands that have completely sprung out of personal and political interest?” asked Chaudhary. Both Chand and Pyakurel had skipped Tuesday’s interaction.

Youth and Sports Minister Daljit Sripali assured that the government will give its all to complete reformation. “We know that cricket is currently going through a tough phase. And its equally tough to complete this process. But the government will remain committed and make sure that cricket doesn’t suffer,” said Sripali.

National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka, also the CPAN general secretary, said the interaction programme has at least made everyone aware of the current problems and has come up with a solution. “We are hopeful that the problem has been defined and everyone needs to come together for solution,” Khadka said.

वैशाख २१, २०७४( अल्ट्रा धावक भीम गुरुङले स्काइरनर वर्ल्ड सिरिजअन्तर्गत चीनको सिचुआनमा भएको ‘येदिङ स्काइरन’ को उपाधि रक्षा गरेका छन् । उनले तीन घण्टा ६ मिनेट ५१ सेकेन्डमा २९ किमि पूरा गर्दै मंगलबार स्वर्णपदक हात पारेका हुन् ।

स्काइरनर वर्ल्ड सिरिजको रेसमा उपाधि रक्षा गर्ने उनी पहिलो नेपाली धावक हुन् । स्काइरनर वर्ल्ड सिरिजमा यो उनको तेस्रो उपाधि हो । उनले गत वर्ष इटालीमा भएको ट्रोफियो किमामा पनि स्वर्ण जितेका थिए । तेन्जिङ–हिलारी एभरेस्ट म्याराथन (सन् २०१५) मा पनि च्याम्पियन भएका उनले ६ प्रतिष्ठित रेसमा स्वर्ण जितेका छन् ।

नेपाली सेनामा आवद्ध भीमले यसपालि येदिङमा चीनका एन्डी वाकरलाई १ मिनेट ३२ सकेन्डले पछाडि पार्दै स्वर्ण हात पारेका हुन् । समुद्री सतहबाट ४ हजार ६ सय मिटरसम्म कोर्समा आयोजित उक्त रेस १ सय ३२ धावकले पूरा गरेका थिए । उनले २ हजार अमेरिकी डलर पुरस्कार प्राप्त गरे ।

१३ वर्षयता साहसिक दौडमा सहभागी हुँदै आएका गोरखाका भीमले गत वर्ष ३ घण्टा २० मिनेट ३० सेकेन्डमा दौड पूरा गर्दै अविश्वसनीय रूपमा स्वर्ण जितेका थिए । उनी चैतमा युरोपमा भएको नर्थ–पोल म्याराथन (विश्वकै चिसो स्थानमा हुने दौड) मा दोस्रो भएका थिए ।

उनीसहित येदिङमा तीन नेपाली धावक सहभागी थिए । सुनमाया बूढा ४ घण्टा २९ मिनेट ८ सेकेन्डसाथ महिलातर्फ चौथोमा रहिन् भने पूर्णलक्ष्मी नेउपाने (४ घण्टा ३३ मिनेट ४६ सेकेन्ड) पाँचौं भइन् ।

अमेरिकी धाविका मेगन किमेलले पनि लगातार दोस्रोपल्ट महिलातर्फको स्वर्ण पदक हात पारिन् । उनले ३ घण्टा ३३ मिनेट ५५ सेकेन्ड लगाइन् । महिलातर्फ ७५ जनाले दौड पूरा गरेका थिए ।

'म पनि सामान्य मान्छे हुँ’

-क्रिस्टियानो रोनाल्डो आखिरमा सामान्य मान्छे नै हुन् । उनी यस्तै दाबी गर्छन् । तर उनको विशेष खेल मद्दतले रियल म्याड्रिड लगभग युरोपेली च्याम्पियन्स लिगको फाइनल पुगेको छ । ‘कडा मिहिनेत र समर्पणबाट राम्रो नतिजा भने आउने गर्छ,’ रोनाल्डोले बुधबार भने, ‘म खुसी छु । भाग्यमानी छु । त्यो भन्दा ठूलो म सामान्य मान्छे नै हुँ ।’

एट्लेटिको म्याड्रिडविरुद्धको सेमिफाइनल पहिलो लेगबारे उनले भने, ‘यो खेलमा म भावनात्मक रूपमा सहभागी थिएँ । टिमको जोस पनि उत्तिकै थियो । मैले तीन गोल गरें, त्यसैले अघिल्लो दिनको रात विशेष रह्यो ।’ अहिले ३२ वर्ष पुगेका रोनाल्डोले कम्तीमा च्याम्पियन्स लिगमा खुबै लय समातेका छन् ।

छिमेकी एट्लेटिकोले आफ्नो १ सय ३ वर्षको इतिहासमा च्याम्पियन्स लिगमा जति गोल गरेको छ, त्यो भन्दा बढी गोल रोनाल्डो एक्लैले गरेका छन् । यसले पनि प्रस्ट पार्छ, युरोपेली फुटबलमा म्याड्रिडका यी दुई क्लबको उपस्थिति कति फरक छ भनेर । एट्लेटिकोलाई ‘सुतेको बाघ’ पनि भनिन्छ । यही बाघविरुद्ध रोनाल्डोको खेल प्रायस् राम्रो हुने गर्छ ।

च्याम्पियन्स लिगका पछिल्ला साढे ५ वर्षमा रोनाल्डोले एट्लेटिकोसँगको प्रदर्शनले यही भन्छ । यता रोनाल्डोको आँखा भने अहिले नै कार्डिफमा छ, जहाँ च्याम्पियन्स लिगको फाइनल हुनेछ । ‘मलाई विश्वास छ, त्यहाँ पनि म राम्रो गर्न सक्ने छु । तर यसअघि सेमिफाइनल दोस्रो लेगमा राम्रो गर्नुपर्नेछ,’ उनी भन्छन् ।

कोरियामा ठुलो राशीको फुटवल प्रतियोगिता

कोरियामा नेपाली संघसंस्थाले लाखौ पुरस्कारका फुटबल प्रतियोता आयोजना गर्दै आएका छन् । प्रतियोगितालाई व्यवस्थीत रुपमा संचालन गर्न नेपाल फुटबल महासंघ दक्षिण कोरियाले आलोपालो प्रणाली मार्फत कार्यक्रम बाँडफड गरेको छ ।

वैशाख २०, २०७४- दक्षिण कोरियाको गजेदोमा आयोजित प्रथम डेउ कप फुटबल प्रतियोगिताको उपाधी धरान एफसीले जितेको छ । यसको पुरस्कार राशी ३५ लाख वन (करिब साढे तीन लाख रुपैयाँ) थियो ।

आयोजक समाजका अध्यक्ष अंशुवर्मा लिम्बुका अनुसार यो सबैभन्दा ठुलो राशीको खेल भएको बताए । 
डेउ नेपाली एकता समाज गजेदोले आयोजना गरेको प्रतियोगितामा उपविजेता मगर एफसीले २० लाख वनमै चित्ता बुझाउनुपर्‍यो । प्रतियोगितामा आयोजक डेउ एफसी रातो र निलो सहित १४ टिमको सहभागिता थियो । खेलको निर्धारित समयमा गोल हुन नसकेपछि ट्राइब्रेकरबाट धरान एफसी २ को विरुद्ध ४ गोलले जितेका थिए ।  

प्रतियोगितामा धरानका सुमन तामाङ उत्कृष्ठ, कास्कीका शक्रराज तामाङ र डेउका रोबिन खड्का सर्वाधिक गोलकर्ता घोषित भए । उत्कृष्ठ गोलकिपरमा धरानकै रुपेन लामा बने । यसभन्दा अघि अप्रिल ६ तारीख सम्पन्न धराण फुटबल क्लबद्वारा आयोजित“बुढासुब्बा गोल्ड कप”को विजेता मनाङ एफसी र उपविजेता मगर एफसी बनेका थिए । विजेतालाई १६ लाख वन (करिब एक लाख ६० हजार रुपैया) र उपविजेतालाई ८ लाख वन प्रदान गरिएको थियो ।  

कोरियामा नेपाली संघसंस्थाले लाखौ पुरस्कारका फुटबल प्रतियोता आयोजना गर्दै आएका छन् । 
प्रतियोगितालाई व्यवस्थीत रुपमा संचालन गर्न नेपाल फुटबल महासंघ दक्षिण कोरियाले आलोपालो प्रणाली मार्फत कार्यक्रम बाँडफड गरेको छ । 

जसअनुसार मे २८ मामासक क्लबद्धारा आयोजना गरिने मासक नेपाली कप, जुन ११ मा कास्की फुटबल क्लबको माछापुच्छ्रे कप, जुलाई ९ मा सुदुरपश्चिम फुटबल क्लबको खप्तड कप, अक्टोबर ३ मा गुनसान नेपाली समाजको गुनसान नेपालीकप, नेपाल राजदूतावासको  एम्बसडर कप, एभरेष्ट फुटबल क्लबको एभरेष्ट कप र नेपाल फुटबल महासंघले फेडरेशन कप आयोजना गर्ने भएका छन् ।
 
कोरियामा विभिन्न जातिय र क्षेत्रिय स्तरको स्थापित १७ वटा क्लब महासंघमा आबद्ध भएको महासंघका अध्यक्ष कृष्ण ब्रो तमुले जनाए ।  इपिएस  तथा विभिन्न शिलसिलामा कोरिया आएका नेपालका राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय स्तरका ६ जना खेलाडी विभिन्न क्लबमा आवद्ध भई खेलिरहेको अध्यक्ष तमुले बताए । 

         अर्जेन्टिना संकटमा डायबाला खेल्ने अनिश्चित

बार्सिलोनाले आँखा लगाएको अर्जेन्टिनी युवा स्ट्राइकर पाउलो डायबाला विश्व कप छनोटअन्तर्गत चिलीविरुद्धको खेलमा अनुपस्थित हुने सम्भावना बढेर गएको छ। गत साता इटालियन सिरियाअन्तर्गत साम्पडोरियाविरुद्धको खेलमा उनलाई खुट्टामा चोट लागेको थियो। डायबाला युभेन्ट्सबाट खेल्ने गर्छन्।

विश्व कप छनोटमा चिली २० अंकका साथ अर्जेन्टिनाभन्दा एक स्थान माथि छ। त्यसैले विहिबार राती (नेपाली समयअनुसार शुक्रबार बिहान सवा ५ बजे) सुरु हुने खेलमा जित हात पारेको खण्डमा अर्जेन्टिनाको प्लेअफ खेल्ने सम्भावना बलियो रहनेछ।

अर्जेन्टिना हाल छैटौ स्थानमा छ। दक्षिण अमेरिकी समूहमा ४ देश सिधै विश्व कपका लागि छनोट हुने र पाँचौ देशले प्लेअफ खेल्न पाउने नियम छ।

२३ वर्षीय स्ट्राइकर डायबाला अहिले छुट्टै अभ्यास गरिरहेका छन्। उनको खेल्ने सम्भावना फितलो रहेको अर्जेन्टिनी फुटबल संघले जनाएको छ। त्यही पनि झिनो आशाका बीच उनलाई तयार पार्न एक्लै अभ्यासमा संलग्न गराइएको छ।

‘डायबालाले मंगलबार छुट्टै अभ्यास गरेका छन्। उनको दाहिने खुट्टाको पाखुरामा लागेको चोटमा केही सुधार देखिएको छ,’ संघले जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तीमा भनिएको छ।

यसअघि भएको ५ भिडन्तमध्ये ३ मा अर्जेन्टिना विजयी भएको छ भने २ खेल चिलीले जितेको छ। चिलीले दुवै खेल पेनाल्टी सुटआउटमा जितेको हो।
